Heat Stricken
It's the dead of summer. Teachers are loving the fact that they can go to the lake on a Tuesday, play golf on a Thursday and sleep in every day. My parents are both teachers and I swore I'd never follow in their footsteps; but working in a cube Monday through Friday when its 80 and sunny makes me reconsider. Gone for me are the days of working at the golf course in the morning, taking a quick nap in the middle of the day, then heading back to the golf course and playing until sun down. I get my fix of golf on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, when I tune in to the PGA tour event for the week and hope to see someone other than Tiger on the top of the leaderboard. Ted Potter Jr. last week for example...how can you not root for a lefty who, in his first year on the Web.com Tour, missed every single cut. 24 of them! That's approximately two and a half times as many as Tiger has missed in his entire PGA Tour career! Kudos to the man, even if he never wins again, he definitely deserves his time in the spotlight.
